Therapy Dogs are ‘Nothing Short of Amazing’

The most important characteristic of a therapy dog is its temperament. A good therapy dog must be friendly, patient, confident, at ease in all situations, and gentle.

WHENEVER SHE STROLLS the hallways of Cape Canaveral Hospital, Amber elicits plenty of admiring glances. Pretty and affable, she’s quite the lady. Amber is also a Lhasa Apso and one of hundreds of canine ambassadors of good cheer that visit hospitals, convalescent centers and private homes.
