Washington Nationals To Host Space Coast Cancer Center Night

VIERA, FLORIDA (March 21, 2011) – It will be Space Coast Cancer Center Night when the Washington Nationals host the St. Louis Cardinals on Friday, March 25 at Space Coast Stadium in Viera.

The game begins at 6:05 pm and the first 2,000 fans will receive a Space Coast Cancer Center gift bag.

Cancer survivor Dawn Faust will sing the National Anthem along with the Platinum Coast Chorus, part of Sweet Adeline’s International singing group, prior to the game.

Jorge Perez De-Armas, MD, a Space Coast Cancer Center Oncologist, will throw out the honorary first pitch. There will also be a special recognition of cancer survivors during the game to honor the survivors in attendance.

There will be giveaways throughout the game and a post game fireworks show will follow the game. Tickets start at $10 and can be purchased at the Space Coast Stadium box office or log on to Nationals.com.
