These unique services earned the Foundation Florida Today’s Volunteer Recognition Award 2004 Organization of the Year.

You may ask “why donate to the Foundation?”  In the majority of patients, Social Security disability and/or Medicaid take several months to be approved.

Here is what some patients say about the Cancer Care Foundation:

“Times were very difficult while being treated for Hodgkin’s; I was unable to hold, or felt good enough to work. Thanks to the Foundation who helped with my rent, and telephone bills, it was the greatest uplift a young man could receive.” – T.P., Melbourne

“I was diagnosed with a skin cancer that needed medication which I could not afford. All of our extra money was going to help for the dialysis treatment and medications for my wife.  The Foundation paid for my medicine and even Browning’s Pharmacy delivered it, and followed up to make sure I received it.  I am 87 years old, in good health, and thankfully now, my skin cancer is gone.” – C.B., Titusville

“My son passed away this past May due to brain cancer.  Your organization was kind enough to provide medication for him during his treatment period. Keep up your excellent work – God Bless you all.” – PBR, Indian Harbour Beach

“Thank you for paying for my rent, and utilities.  You have made my cancer experience stress free.  It is nice to be able to sleep at night and not worry about your household bills, so thank you from the bottom of my heart.” – ES, Palm Bay

“Having been diagnosed with liver cancer and my husband on disability, I had no where to turn, my VNA nurse contacted the Foundation – they paid for all my utilities – may God bless all the generous people that donate to the Foundation.” – DM, Sebastian
