PHYSICIAN SPOTLIGHT
BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Dr. Arun Koshy, a pulmonary physician, and Dr. Gita Koshy, a gastroenterologist, have joined MIMA at their Gateway Drive location in Melbourne, Florida.

After earning a medical degree from Christian Medical College in Vellore, India, Dr. Arun Koshy completed his residency in Internal Medicine at New York Medical College, where he also served as Chief Resident.
Prior to joining MIMA, Dr. Gita Koshy completed her fellowship in gastroenterology and nutrition at New York Medical College and served as a physician at Osler Medical in Melbourne.

Dr. Arun Koshy is Board Certified in Internal, Geriatric and Pulmonary Medicine, as well as Critical Care. He holds a certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support. He holds professional memberships in the American College of Chest Physicians and the American Thoracic Society.

Dr. Gita Koshy, one of only two female Gastroenterologists in Brevard, earned a medical degree from the Christian Medical College in Vellore, India and is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology and holds a certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
She holds professional memberships in the American College of Gastroenterology, American Society of Internal Medicine and the American Medical Association.
Both doctors participated in medical research and have been published in their fields. Dr. Gita Koshy is also involved in teaching and community outreach for increasing colon cancer awareness.
