Doctors’ Goodwill Foundation To Sponsor Mission Trip to Haiti

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Doctors’ Goodwill Foundation has postponed their annual Doctors Expo, usually scheduled for March, to the Fall to focus on their upcoming mission to Haiti in April.

Dr. Kantilal Bhalani, Doctor's Goodwill Founder

The Doctors’ Goodwill Foundation consists of more than 150 local physicians and health care professionals whose goal is to promote health-related education and participates in local and international charitable medical missions.

"The Foundation invites all area physicians, nurses and others who would like to help with the mission to join us," said Doctors’ Goodwill Foundation Founder, Dr. Kantilal Bhalani. "The need in Haiti is dire."

Doctors’ Goodwill Foundation member Dr. Stanley Beberman has been to Haiti on several other missions to Haiti. "I fear what we will find, and the Haitians will need help for a long time," he said.

"An April mission will allow doctors and medical personnel to continue work that has begun, as it will take months, and years, of work ahead to stabilize the country," said Dr. Bhalani.  "We are dedicated to providing medical assistance, and if you are a physician, nurse or health care worker and are interested in joining the mission please contact us."

Donations can be made to the Doctors’ Goodwill Foundation Haiti Fund at P.O. Box 909, Titusville, FL 32780. If you would like to donate supplies or medical equipment call 321-735-6492 or e-mail stindall@cfl.rr.com.
