Mushatts Supports Psoriasis Foundation Research
PHILANTHROPY
BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Mushatt’s No. 9 Psoriasis Skin Care recently announced that it will donate two percent of its sales revenue to support the National Psoriasis Foundation Research Program.
Psoriasis is a non-contagious, genetic disease of the immune system and manifests itself in the skin and/or joints of the body. It affects about two percent of the population – or 7,500,000 people in the United States alone.
Research is the top priority of The National Psoriasis Foundation, whose efforts are aimed at searching for better treatments and a cure for psoriasis.
"Mushatt’s is especially pleased to play its part in helping find long-term solutions for the millions of sufferers of this debilitating disease, which very often has a significant impact on quality of life," said Michael Foley, Mushatt's president.
"The National Psoriasis Foundation’s efforts have been a lone voice in advocating for support, and Mushatts hopes that its contribution will be part of a growing movement to build greater awareness of Psoriasis and develop sustainable treatment solutions for this chronic skin disease."
Inspired and developed in Ireland in 1922, Mushatt's No. 9 range of skin care products include Psoriasis Skin Ointment, Psoriasis Facial Cream, Psoriasis Scalp Cream, and PsoriWash a non-detergent, non-soap, non-foaming wash formulated specifically for psoriasis.
All the Mushatt's No. 9 products are steroid free and are manufactured in the U.S in an FDA-and GMP-approved state-of-the-art facility.
