The Red Hot Mamas is a program created in 1991 by Karen Giblin dedicated to broadening women’s knowledge base about menopause – and thus nurture consumers who are empowered, knowledgeable participants in the management of their menopause.

The program has been featured in Family Circle, Good Housekeeping, Time, CNN, Today Show and Good Morning America, among other media venues, and has been recommended by the North American Menopause Society.

“Educating yourself about menopause is a must,” said Giblin. “Red Hot Mamas helps take the mystery out of menopause by offering essential, up-to-date information. Learning the facts can help you make objective and informed decisions about your health at menopause and beyond. Red Hot Mamas provides education, support, understanding, hope and optimism,” Giblin said.

Working with hospitals and physician group practices in the United States and Canada, the Mamas revolve around free monthly informational presentations.
