MIMA Breaks Gound On $50M Project

ON HAND FOR THE GROUNDBREAKING of MIMA’s new medical facility at the corner of Gateway Blvd. and NASA Boulevard is Vicky Luchetti, Director, MIMA Construction & Development; Rich Nescio, MIMA, Chief Financial Administrator; Steven Gressel, and Jeff Graff of Bank of America, James Ronaldson, M.D., MIMA, Chief Financial Officer; and Joseph McClure, M.D., MIMA, Chief Executive Officer and President MIMA Real Estate LLC.
Medical Complex to Feature 200,000 square feet
MELBOURNE, FLORIDA - MIMA held a ground breaking ceremony to signify the kick-off of construction of its $50 million medical facility on Gateway Drive in Melbourne.

“We’re building for our future,” said Joseph McClure, MD, chief executive officer and MIMA’s chairman of the board. “Our responsibility is to keep the young doctors in mind so that MIMA will continue to deliver quality medical services for years to come.”
Phase I is scheduled to open this year: 65,000 square feet of physician offices, laboratory and diagnostic services. The remaining 135,000 square feet will be completed by 2010.

Mike Means
Health First CEO Mike Means commented about his excitement for the project. “MIMA has become one of the foundations of healthcare in the community. This is an exciting project.”

Harry Goode
Don McKenna, CEO of Wuesthoff agreed. “This is fantastic for the community – a wonderful convenience for patients to access such a wide range of services.”
Mayor Harry Goode says the project does so many things for south Brevard. “A project like this adds jobs, expands healthcare services for all who live here, and makes the community a better place to live,” said Mayor Goode.
